Before dying, a woman leaves letters asking her daughter to play matchmaker for her father and his college friend. During college, Anjali was in love with her college friend Rahul, but he has eyes only for Tina.
Years later Rahul and the now-deceased Tina's 8 years old daughter attempt to reunite her father and Anjali.
